Tour North

With culinary stops this tour guides you through the northern part of the Johannis district and the gardens behind the castle. The green area at Friedrich Ebert Square hast many names: Arhivpark, Platnersanlage or Colleggarten. Entrepreneurial personalities like Georg Zacharias Platner and Kurt Klutentreter left the footprints here. After the Friedrich Ebert Square we continue to the former fish kitchen, today know as “Würzhaus”. The chief chef in person will greet us in person.

Strengthened by the food we continue our search for the gardens behind the castle. In between we will test the vegetarian and vegan tavern and a former student and neighborhood bar. The tour through the 19./20. Century is not over yet. Who lived in the villa that looks like a Roccoco palace? Here you can dance through the gallery or simply enjoy an espresso on the cozy balcony.
